SOZBOTS is having an event on May 3 & 4 in Anaheim, CA at
the RC Expo. The schedule will spread over both days, starting
as early as possible. Saturday we will have check in starting at 11 am
until noon. First fight will be at 1pm. On Sunday, the first fight will
be at 12:00 noon. We expect the last fight on Sunday to be no later
than 3pm.
We have been allocated the following radio channels for this event. We
will not be sharing these channels with anyone else. Your robot must
use these channels only and you need to have at least 2 sets to be
able to swap channels if requested.
The channels are:
62 (75.430 MHz)
64 (75.470 MHz)
69 (75.570 MHz)
86 (75.910 MHz)
88 (75.950 MHz)
90 (75.990 MHz)
Prizes will be as follows:
First Place 50% of prize pool. Paid in Cash
Second Place 35% of prize pool. Paid in Cash
Third Place 15% of prize pool. Paid in Cash
The prize pool will consist of entry fees. For this event, each
robot entered will pay $35. $16 will be deducted to cover entry
fee to the event and paid to RCExpo. That leaves $19 per robot
and 33% of that will be placed into the prize pool.
Space is restricted to 32 robots.
